Plot, building and works
- Plot (T key): 16 × 16 tiles at level 1, its area grows with your level. You can only build, sow and raise animals on your own land. To abandon it: last slot of the building bar (with confirmation).
- Building (B key): floors (also under an object), walls, doors (which only open for whoever built them), torches, fires, workbenches and stations, bed, chests, fences and gates, feeders.
- Works (G key, shovel in hand): dig (you get earth), fill in (2 earth), sow wheat or corn.
- Chests: wooden (18 slots), iron-bound (36 slots) or royal (72 slots, ingot shop), 64 identical items per slot, private contents. Drag and drop to tidy up, Sort button.
- Salvage bench: to take apart items you no longer need (see wear).
More room: when the mainland fills up, the portal east of the village leads to the New Lands, a large peaceful region where you claim your plot the same way.
Absences: a plot left unvisited for 30 days is freed for newcomers (an email warns you a week before). Nothing is lost: buildings, as materials, and chest contents wait in storage with Aubin.
Terrain matters: you can only climb one level at a time, you can jump down but you get hurt beyond 2 levels.
